Walk by Faith
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.”— Hebrews 11:6
There are two elements of faith: (1) believing that God is and (2) that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. It’s that simple.
Some people think it’s hard to believe in God, but the beauty of God’s creation alone is proof that He exists. “Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.” This means every one of us, when we see creation, knows there is a God. And because we know there is a God, we must surrender our wills to Him. In other words, when we come to grips with the reality that there is a Creator and that we are His creation, we must turn and surrender to the One who made us to fulfill His purpose for our lives.
We were made to seek after God and discover Him. This is why we were born. The Lord said to Israel, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Beloved one, I want to ask you today, is your life at a place where you can say you are seeking after God with all your heart?
